I WISH this is what it looked like this year! But no, everything is still snowless. Global warming?! (This picture is from 2010.)

O Christmas Tree.....

We got our tree a little earlier this year then usual, because Dad is going to be leaving for a business trip. Today we began decorating, and I decided to take some photos of the ornaments and lights, as well as set up some abstract shots!

I like how it looks like the angel is looking into the tree.

Ever wanted to see what a Christmas tree looks like from the inside? Well...now you know!

 An interesting abstract shot.

One of my favorites! I took it lying on the floor looking up.

Abstract shots:

Temporary end of the abstract. (Don't worry, there's more. ;) ) Continue!

This was the only good shot I could get without flash. I like it better with the lights on- it looks like Pooh and Piglet are skiing down a slope covered in lights, or are jumping over lights.

Meanwhile, in the far corner of the room....

....the dolls begin gathering at the site of  a MALL SANTA FACEOFF! Whoever picks up the most shoppers wins!
Our two contestants:

Contestant 1.
And, Contestant 2, who bears a coincidental likeness to Yours Truly.

Of course, we all know who won. (Need a hint? They made this blog.) ;););)

Back at the tree decorating area.....

Not all that glimmers is gold-it may be an apple ornament.
I like this shot.

Abstract Break:

End of the abstract!..stay tuned for the grand finale....

This is my favorite picture! I'm still trying to figure out why, though...

Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, the dolls gather once again!

AND NOW, PRESENTING....THE GRAND ABSTRACT FINALE!
These remind me of glowsticks! I made them by shaking up the camera.  One of them is now my blog background. (Find which one, and I'll give you a button for your blog! Post your answer in the comments.)
Enjoy!

So, fellow bloggers, have you gone the earlybird route along with us and picked out/decorated a tree already? Write about it in the comments!
