Avacados ARE Neglected
There has been a movement going around in class about avocados. Everybody suddenly thinks they are neglected- because, they are always mistaken for disgusting vegetables when they are really wonderful fruits, as my friend Soso said in her lunchtime speech. There are buttons being exchanged, posters, and even a deal stating that if you pay 99 cents a month to help avocados, you will win a T-shirt. The money will be used to "buy one of these wonderful fruits and treat it with the dignity and honor it deserves," another Soso quote. Kooky as it seems, I think I've been convinced. So stand up fellow bloggers, avocados ARE neglected!

The real question is, will you eat one? Because avocados are really tasty.
ReplyDeleteOf course, once you stand up for one, you have to smush it down if you're going to make an awesome guacamole. Ole!
ReplyDeleteI love avocados! They are delicious on sandwiches too. Add a little sour cream to that guacamole. I promise you, avocados are not neglected in my home. :)
ReplyDeleteHey CJ, I just saw that you signed my guestbook. Thank you! I'm so sorry I didn't see it sooner and come by to thank you. I usually get an email when someone signs it but for some reason I am not getting them now.
Keep being who God created you to be!
... and eat an avocado today. :)
